DRIVER JOB

Job Description:-

This position calls for a responsible, motivated and enthusiastic person who can work on his/her own initiative. The selected person will be reporting to the Production Manager and will be delivering products to various outlets around Malta.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Delivering products as necessary;

• Loading and unloading goods;

• Assisting the in the stores department;

• Maintaining the assigned vehicle clean and in a good working condition.

Requirements:

• Have a minimum of one years’ experience in a similar post;

• Possess a valid and clean Category C1 Driving License;

• Be customer oriented;

• Have good verbal and written communications skills in both Maltese and English;

• Be willing to learn and to participate in training provided;

• Be smart and reliable at all times. Preference will be given to candidates who are willing to obtain the C Driving License during their employment and/or are already in possession of C Driving License. All personal data provided will be treated in strict confidence.

Competencies

• Set up route according to delivery requirements. Check documents (timetables, order form…)
• Organize and check the loading of goods onto vehicle
• Prepare goods. Load goods as per delivery route
• Check condition and equipment of vehicle. Perform trailer coupling
• Deliver orders
