Our client is looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake a variety of tasks relating to the installation and maintaining electrical infrastructure in domestic, commercial and industrial environments . The selected candidate will be installing electrical wiring in buildings troubleshooting malfunctions and faults.

Responsibilities
- Read plan, schematic and connection drawings and be able to set out and plan an installation
- Interpret Motor control panel circuit drawings and termination schedules
- Assemble Distribution boards and electrical control panels
- Execute plans of electrical wiring for well functioning Electrical and extra low voltage systems
- Install electrical canalization systems and bus bar distribution systems
- Cable installations and terminations including different types of cables (e.g. armored, unarmored, multi cored, screened, et….)
- Install electrical distribution components (e.g. Distribution boards, consumer units, switchgear etc.)
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrician
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
- Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight
- Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
- Valid international divers license
- The ideal candidate will have experience in different kinds of electrical devices and systems and worked on installations to the latest wiring guide British Standard BS 7671 18th Edition
Note that candidates with less experience or qualifications will also be considered however as ‘Assistant Electricians.’
