The main responsibilities include:
- Receiving, inspecting, unloading, and stacking items properly for easy identification
- Ensuring proper stocking of linen and other items by using an appropriate method of care to avoid any damage and loss
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping and managing all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
- Inform relevant departments of any discrepancies in incoming items
- Liaise with all departments, process requisitions, and deliver in respective departments or internally
- Ensure that stock levels of all items are kept at specified quantities
- Report stock discrepancies and damages to management
- Conduct at least a monthly stock-taking exercises
- Ensuring that the store is always maintained up to date in all respects and is always clean and organized
- Working flexible hours and weekends/public holidays.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Storekeeper is a plus
- Good level of English is mandatory
- Knowledge of inventory management will be considered an asset
- Must be able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- In possession of a valid driving license
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Organizational skills and an eye for detail.
